Howard and Kinnock launch Opposition Studies

The Centre for Opposition Studies began life as the Opposition Studies Forum, the official launch of which took place on 25th March 2009 in the Shadow Cabinet Room at the House of Commons, hosted by two of our Honorary Presidents, the Rt. Hon. Michael Howard QC MP (now Lord Howard of Lympne) and the Rt Hon. Lord Kinnock.

It was attended by supporters including MPs Michael Gove, Alan Duncan and Patrick McLoughlin (then all serving members of the Shadow Cabinet), and academics Professor Lord Norton of Louth and Professor Tim Bale.
